Flat Roof Repairs & Replacement Wrexham
Repair It Or Replace It: We Will Tell You Which
Flat roofs are practical, but they are less forgiving than pitched roofs. Water sits on them rather than running off, so small faults can turn into leaks quickly.

Common Faults
Flat Roof Problems We Fix
Splits & Cracks
Old felt becomes brittle with age and sunlight, and can crack or split at joints and upstands.
Blisters & Bubbles
Trapped moisture or air under the covering can lift sections of the roof, which can then tear.
Ponding Water
Puddles that stay for more than a day or two put extra strain on the covering and often point to poor falls.
Failed Upstands & Flashings
The join where the roof meets a wall is one of the most common leak points.
Blocked Outlets & Gutters
Leaves and debris can stop water draining and cause overflowing at the roof edge.
End-Of-Life Roofs
Where a flat roof has been patched many times, a full replacement is usually better value.
Our Systems
Torch-On Felt & Cold-Applied
Torch-On Felt
A multi-layer bitumen membrane, heat-bonded to the roof for a durable, watertight finish. Commonly used on extensions, garages and commercial roofs. See torch-on felt.
Cold-Applied Systems
A liquid or membrane-based system applied without a naked flame, a good option where heat work is not suitable. See cold-applied roofing.
Repair Or Replace?
How We Decide
A repair is often enough where the damage is limited and the rest of the roof is sound. If the covering is perished, has failed in several places or has been patched repeatedly, replacing it properly is usually the better long-term option.
We will explain what we found, what we recommend and why. Full re-roofs come with a 10-year workmanship guarantee and repairs with 12 months. You can also read our guide to what affects the cost of roofing work.

Often a repair is possible. If the covering is worn out we will explain why replacement makes more sense.
Do you replace flat roofs on garages and extensions?

Is your flat roofing work guaranteed?
Yes. Full re-roofs come with a 10-year workmanship guarantee, and repairs are backed by a 12-month workmanship guarantee.
Which areas do you cover?
