What information we collect
We collect only what we need to answer your enquiry and do the work.

- Calls, WhatsApp and email: your contact details and whatever you tell us about the job.
- When we carry out work: the address of the property, details of the work, quotes, invoices, payment records and guarantee documents.
- Website use: technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit. Where this is collected using cookies or similar technologies, we only do so with your consent. See our Cookie Policy.
How we use your information and why
The law requires us to have a lawful basis for using your information. Ours are:
- To reply to your enquiry and give you a quote (taking steps at your request before a contract, and our legitimate interest in running our business).
- To carry out and invoice the work, and honour our workmanship guarantee (performing our contract with you).
- To keep records the law requires, such as accounting and tax records (legal obligation).
- To keep our website secure and prevent spam (legitimate interests).
- To measure how the website is used and improve it, where this uses cookies or similar technologies (your consent).
We do not sell your information. We do not send marketing emails or texts unless you have asked us to.
Who we share it with
We only share information with people who help us run the business and website, and only as much as they need:
- Our website hosting provider (Hostinger) and email provider, who store the website, enquiries and emails.
- Google, for our Google reviews and, if switched on, website analytics.
- Trustindex, which displays our Google reviews on this site.
- Facebook (Meta), which supplies the feed of our latest jobs and runs WhatsApp if you message us there.
- Map imagery providers, which receive your IP address when the coverage map loads.
- Our accountants, insurers and other professional advisers, where needed.
- Authorities and regulators, if the law requires it.
We do not subcontract your job to another company, so we do not share your details with other roofers.
Transfers outside the UK
Some of the companies above are based outside the UK. Where your information is transferred, it is protected by approved safeguards, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or an adequacy decision.
How long we keep it
We keep information only as long as we need it:
- Enquiries that do not lead to work: up to 12 months, in case you come back to us.
- Customer and job records: for as long as the workmanship guarantee runs (up to 10 years from completion), and in any case at least six years for tax and accounting purposes.
- Photos you upload with an enquiry: with the enquiry or job record they relate to.
