Roofing In Caernarfon

What Roofs In Caernarfon Have To Cope With

A few things worth knowing about roofs in and around Caernarfon.

Slate Country

Caernarfon is at the heart of the Welsh slate area, and slate roofs are common on homes, terraces and chapels throughout the town and nearby villages. Where an existing slate roof can be repaired rather than replaced, doing so can keep the character of the building.

Historic Buildings & Stone Terraces

The town centre is historic, with older stone buildings and terraces. Roofing work on an older building needs to respect the existing construction, and we will explain what is practical before any work begins.

Wet & Windy

Gwynedd has a lot of rain and strong wind, particularly closer to the coast and the mountains. Sound flashings, secure ridges and clear gutters matter, and they are usually where we find problems first.

Do you cover Caernarfon?

Yes. We cover Caernarfon and the wider Gwynedd area, working from our base in Wrexham.

Can you match existing slate?

We can discuss options for matching or blending new slates with an existing roof. Contact us and we will talk through what is possible for your property.

Is your work guaranteed?

Yes. New roofs and full re-roofs come with a 10-year workmanship guarantee, and repairs are backed by a 12-month workmanship guarantee.

Do you give free quotes in Caernarfon?

Yes. We provide free, no-obligation quotations. Contact us to discuss your requirements and arrange an assessment.
